There are people in
our lives that make an
impact on us.
A lot of those just
happen to be teachers.
Here is a chance to say
thanks.
Schools were closed, then opened, then closed and opened again. Kids were sent home to quarantine
and Zoom classrooms became all the norm. Teachers did as best they could. Parents, caught off guard, put in that
extra effort to support their children’s learning. Often it was an overwhelming experience. But parents and
teachers came to see each other in a new light.
Now with schools open and teachers back in class, it's time to reflect on what we've all been through and how
we've depended on each other. And now, on World Teachers Day, let's throw teachers a well-deserved 'thank you.'
"On behalf of Alberta's teachers, thank you, parents for all you have done over the last 18 months
to help support learning to continue."
– Jason Schilling, ATA President

I thank you !❤️❤️
Mrs Lembryk you are an amazing teacher and an even more amazing person.
I look up to you as a colleague and am in awe of how you do what you do!
THANK YOU
Amazingly, she was also my grade seven teacher and I felt the exact same way. She always had time to talk, to answer questions, and treated us with such care.
Many years later when I was completing my Education degree I ran into her at the U of A as she was touring high school students on campus. I was immediately transported to my six-year old self, and was filled with gratitude for all that she did to make me feel so special.
I’m now a Principal and remember her so fondly. Thank you Mrs. Yeomans for setting me on a path that defined my life.
Thank you, Diane!
