There are people in
our lives that make an
impact on us.
A lot of those just
happen to be teachers.
Here is a chance to say
Schools were closed, then opened, then closed and opened again. Kids were sent home to quarantine
and Zoom classrooms became all the norm. Teachers did as best they could. Parents, caught off guard, put in that
extra effort to support their children’s learning. Often it was an overwhelming experience. But parents and
teachers came to see each other in a new light.
Now with schools open and teachers back in class, it's time to reflect on what we've all been through and how
we've depended on each other. And now, on World Teachers Day, let's throw teachers a well-deserved 'thank you.'
"On behalf of Alberta's teachers, thank you, parents for all you have done over the last 18 months
to help support learning to continue."

treated better by the government. I hope that you enjoy your class each day with lots
of positive happenings. I hope that you will always be safe and appreciated!!!
Thank you for your contribution to our children and society as a whole. Teaching is never the easiest profession but it is even more difficult and probably more stressful than ever before. Your courage and professionalism helps build the better future that politicians talk about.
All the best to you all,
Thank you for your unwavering support for our students over the past year! As a retired teacher, the wife of a retired teacher, the mother of a teacher, and the grandmother of a Preschool student, I have witnessed your dedication, professionalism, and your very hard work!
Your concern and care has and is helping students face the mental health challenges they face. Take care of and be gentle with yourselves!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Take care of yourself, please!

Returning to in class during the pandemic was stressful again! I really understand the hours you spend on your own time figuring the positioning of activities with the children! We love you all and thank you for going far beyond to help our children learn in these times of uncertainty, and keeping everyone safe!! You are my hero, my son’s hero THANK YOU ❤️
